History of Our Council:

The Knights of Columbus Naperville Council founded on January 17, 1908 is among the oldest in DuPage County, Illinois.  It was founded by members of SS. Peter and Paul Parish and Pastor Father August Wenker was asked to be a charter member as well as its chaplain, which he was only too happy to accept.  Valentine Dieter was the council's first Grand Knight.

The Naperville Nights of Columbus are a Round Table Council with members from two Naperville Parishes.  Each Parish has a representative in the Round Table Council.

Member Parishes:

Ss. Peter and Paul the first Roman Catholic church in Naperville which was founded in 1846 as St. Raphael later renamed Ss. Peter and Paul.  Current church building completed 1927, sometimes referred to as the Cathedral of DuPage County.  Since construction it was thought it might become a "Cathedral" which never will happen since Joliet became the location of the Diocese Cathedral.  Still one of the most impressive area Churches for it's gothic style and stained glass windows from Germany.  The pipe organ is said to be the largest in the Chicago area, though parts are simulated electronically.

St. Thomas the Apostle founded on July 1, 1984 with Pastor Fr. Jim Curtin and 300 families at the request of Bishop Joseph Imesch to establish a parish in Northwest Naperville.  The Church building completed in 1986.  Unique to St. Thomas are it's windows with living mission statements incorporating the message of Scripture and the related history and present of Naperville.  Includes an outdoor "Stations of the Cross" gardens area with a labyrinth prayer and reflection area.
